MEDIT, headquartered in South Korea, is a leading global provider of dental 3D scanners and digital dentistry solutions. Dr. Whang leverages her extensive clinical experience to lead MEDIT's product portfolio strategy and end-to-end product innovation, from ideation to commercialisation, ensuring that MEDIT's solutions meet the evolving needs of dental professionals worldwide.

Her role involves developing and executing a cohesive vision and strategy for MEDIT’s product lines (hardware, software, education, service, and strategic partnerships) in close collaboration with upstream counterparts, commercial teams, and relevant business stakeholders to ensure winning market propositions.

Dr. Alice Whang serves as the clinical specialist within the team, working cross-functionally to define product requirements, specifications, and enhancements. She advocates for features and functionalities that address the unique challenges in the industry.

Dr. Alice Whang served as a lead educator for the Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry and the Fellowship in Modern Implantology, educating general dentists and dental students worldwide.

Dr. Whang lectured on restorative dentistry, veneers, digital dentistry, and implantology. She conducted live simulation sessions, providing feedback and post-course mentoring for attendees, dealing with clinical cases and challenges in their private practices. Her recorded clinical procedures have garnered attention from a global audience of dental professionals.

• Taught 48 virtual and live simulation trainings.
